Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our workshop sessions.

Your session has four parts. It opens with a guided heritage walkthrough — you'll learn why Jaipur has been the world's gemstone capital since 1727, and discover the traditions of different jewelery tenchiques and styles. Then you move to the design studio, where you sketch your piece and select your gemstone from our private vault. Further you take a seat at the artisan's bench and — with the hands-on guidance of a master craftsman — craft your jewelry from scratch to a finished piece. Finally your session closes with a dedicated feedback segment — the master artisan walks you through your finished piece, shares observations on your technique, and answers any questions about the craft. It is also a moment to simply pause and take in what you have made.
Everything you need is taken care of — just come with your enthusiasm. Here is what every guest receives: Gloves & apron — Provided at the bench to keep you comfortable and your clothes fully protected throughout the crafting segment. All tools & materials — Every tool, metal, and material used during your session is provided. Nothing extra to bring or purchase. Gemstone Credit — Your session includes a ₹500 gemstone credit toward your stone selection from our private vault. Our vault carries a wide range of gems across price points — many beautiful options fall within the credit. If you fall in love with a higher-value stone, you simply pay the difference at the end of the session. Metal — brass included, silver at actuals — The session includes brass as your base metal, which is the traditional material used in Jaipur workshop craft. If you prefer to work in silver, the cost of silver is charged separately based on the actual weight of metal used and the day's silver rate — our artisan will give you a clear estimate before you begin. Voucher surprise — Every guest receives a surprise voucher during the session, where they can get a free gemstone or metal credit applied directly toward the making of your piece. Gemstone from the vault — You select your stone from our private gem vault during the design studio. The cost of your chosen gemstone is included in the session fee. Tea or coffee & local refreshments — Enjoy a cup of chai or coffee alongside a small selection of local Rajasthani snacks served during the session. Your finished piece — The jewelry you craft is yours to keep, packaged and ready to take home or gift.
Yes — the piece is entirely yours to keep. You design it, you make it, you take it home.
No. The experience is designed for beginners and enthusiasts of all skill levels.
Sessions are limited to four participants. This ensures every guest receives personal, unhurried attention from the master artisan — through the crafting and into the final feedback session. It is an intimate experience, not a class. You can also book exclusive session for your group, Private sessions come with dedicated artisan time across all four segments and can be tailored to your group's pace and interests.
Dress comfortably — you will be seated at a workbench for a good portion of the session. We recommend avoiding loose, flowing sleeves or heavy bangles and bracelets, as these can get in the way while working with small tools and delicate materials. Casual, comfortable clothing works perfectly. We provide aprons to protect your clothes from any polish or metal dust during the crafting segment.
